Since 2007, Michael Haeger’s ongoing studies have evolved through sculptural sound objects, spatial systems, experimental acoustics and atmospheric environments — situated between instrument, architecture and spatial experience.

Rather than following conventional disciplinary boundaries, the work combines elements of sound research, material experimentation, spatial perception and object-based environmental studies.

Treephonic emerged as a long-term framework through which these evolving spatial and resonant investigations gradually began to converge — aided by evolving tools, reflection and contemporary processes including AI-assisted development.
